The mayor of Vilnius, Lithuania has launched a drastic campaign to combat the growing issue of illegal parking in his city.Arturas Zuokas is an avid cycler and hates it when people drive on bike paths or when cars are parked where they shouldn't be.
This is why the mayor created a video in which he is literally running over and crushing illegally parked cars with a giant tank.Zuokas then stares into the camera and shouts, "And that's what will happen if you're parked where you shouldn't be!" In the same campaign, the mayor explains that expensive, illegally parked cars are causing chaos in the city centre."What can we do when people think they are above the law? A tank is the best solution," added the mayor.
During a BBC interview, Zuokas justified his campaign by saying it is "proof of good humour" in his line of work and that hopefully the ad would draw attention to an urgent urban problem.
What do you think? What would you do to teach illegally parked cars a lesson?

Great article! The green industry/activists need to keep making campaigns like this in order to get people to pay attention to these types of causes. On a side note, the guy that walks out in a track suit and gold chain around his neck is priceless! Hahahahaahahahah
