“Mobile work” is a broader way to wonder about work transformation together with its mobilities that organize it. We use the adjective “mobile”, since we obviously move … to work and sometimes, working. Mobile also if we use “mobile technologies” (emails, texts, tweets, cloud, chats, skype, calls, …) From where? From home, and anytime, but most of the time from the office, unless if we do it from a coffee or from a station. This shift towards what we wrongly call telecommuting is weird, right?
Do you agree to talk about “mobile work”? How do you live with that?
Tell us a bit more what you think of it… We will use it on February, 7th for a conference at Le Monde: “Tomorrow, mobile work”

Totally agree on the expression "mobile work" since today, you can basically work from wherever you want if you work in an office ! It can be a huge advantage at the time of booking cheap tickets for a week end or for an appointement next to your place.
Of course, this implies a trustful relationship with your boss and your colleagues !
Working at home or from another office is great a few days a months, but I could not do it all the time. I heard of co-working center, I think this is a really significant compromise.
Enjoy the conference,
Nick
Mobile Work could save money and time!
I am currently writing this comment from the train, this is very mobile work :)
Thanks for sharing your experience, good luck !!
